WebMD Patient Blog: Hereditary High Cholesterol

Web MD logo

I was pleased when the folks at WebMD contacted me to write a patient perspective blog about living with hereditary high cholesterol–in my case FH, or familial hypercholesterolemia.

I hope you’ll join me monthly, more or less, as we talk about the personal and emotional aspects of everything from diagnosis and advocacy to the impact on family members to navigating the medical system.

Sharing these posts is an easy way to help reach the 1 in 250 who have this common disorder, 85% of whom do not have a diagnosis. Thank you from the bottom of my healthy heart!
